Microfabrica COVID-19 Update: “Stay at Home" Order

Valued Customers

The State of California and City of Los Angeles have issued public health orders to “Stay at Home” (“Orders”). These Orders will go into effect Friday March 20th, 2020 and will remain in effect until further notice. The Orders apply to all residences and business in the state of California except for those supporting Essential Activities and Critical Infrastructure.

To comply with these Orders, Microfabrica will continue limited operations to comply with the Order’s social distancing requirements and to support Essential Activities and Critical Infrastructure. The Orders will impact our manufacturing capacity and may delay shipments. Estimated shipment dates and quantities will be provided shortly. We apologize in advance for any disruption to your business and will strive to minimize the impact.

We will continue to communicate pertinent information and changes with you as the situation evolves. Our commitment is to help support you during this situation to the greatest extent possible while operating within the requirements of the Orders. As always, our primary goal is protecting the safety and welfare of our team members and our community while continuing to meet our customer’s needs. If you have any questions or need additional information, please reach out directly to your Microfabrica contact.

Thank you for your patience and mutual support as we navigate through this together.

Sincerely,

Eric C. Miller, CEO

Microfabrica COVID-19 Update: 03-18-2020

Valued Customers

The Microfabrica Leadership Team is working together to monitor the associated risks with the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) situation. We are continuously evaluating the most recent facts from public health agencies such as the US Centers for Disease Control (CDC), World Health Organization and local governments, and acting in accordance to safeguard the well-being of employees to minimize the spread of infection. The health and safety of our employees and customers will always be our top priority.

Microfabrica is committed to provide continuous communication, caution and alertness to help ensure you are fully informed. We remain committed to serving you to the best of our ability and will keep you up to date on changes as they occur.

CURRENT STATUS

SAFETY: Microfabrica will continue following the recommendations of the CDC and state health officials to limit the spread of the virus and are erring on the side of caution in matters of judgement. Our employees are practicing social distancing, and most are working from home.

MANUFACTURING & FACILITIES: Our corporate headquarters and manufacturing facility in Van Nuys, CA is fully operational at present. We have transitioned non-manufacturing operations to be performed remotely and implemented measures to minimize number of people required on the premises. We are proactively mitigating risks related to our supply chain and don’t expect to have any disruptions in securing raw materials and critical supplies. However, it is quite possible that a “shelter in place” order may be issued for the county and/or city of Los Angeles. If this does occur, it may, depending on the scope of the order, require Microfabrica to suspend manufacturing operations. We will inform you immediately if this does occur and work with you to address your questions and concerns.

TRAVEL: Microfabrica has eliminated nonessential air travel through April 30. We anticipate having to evolve our travel policies to ensure the safety of our team members.

As always, our primary goal is protecting the safety and welfare of our team members while continuing to meet customer needs. We will communicate pertinent information and changes with you as the situation evolves. Microfabrica will also continue to support you as best we can by understanding your evolving needs, and clearly communicating our status. If you have any questions or need additional information, please reach out directly to your Microfabrica contact.

Our best wishes to you, your team and loved ones as we work together to navigate through this unique time.

Sincerely,

Eric C. Miller, CEO
