SENIOR CHEMISTRY TECHNICIAN LEVEL 1

Description

The Senior Chemistry Technician is a key member of the process engineering team that supports Microfabrica’s manufacturing process. The focus is on supporting the company’s sophisticated electroplating process and equipment used in the revolutionary Mica Freeform process.

Responsibilities

Maintain chemicals, tools, and equipment necessary to production

Conduct quality control testing for incoming raw materials

Keep laboratory area clean and well organized

Participate in troubleshooting and taskforces as need

Education & Experience

A.S or B.S in chemistry or related field or equivalent experience

Required Skills and Abilities

Chemical analysis experience: Titration, ICP, AA.

Experience with handling hazardous and reactive chemicals and waste.

Ability to work with chemicals for plating process.

Experience with quality and EPA compliance.

Demonstrated proficiency with Excel and other MS Office applications.

Good communication skills.

Ability to work flexible shifts.

Preferred Qualifications

One year laboratory experience or equivalent

Chemical analysis experience: Titration, ICP, AA
